The Flipco Journey
After a couple years of custom construction with his father, Jack Flippo originally founded Flipco as a sole proprietorship construction company. However, it wasn't long before the winds of change swept through the business.
In 2023, after another year of serving the community with restoration and remodeling, Flipco redirected its focus toward a new vision – spotless windows and solar panel cleaning. With the help of his brother and cousin, Jack's pivotal shift marked the start of Flipco Exterior Homes as a premier window cleaning company.
Over the course of 10 months, Flipco made its way across Tri-Cities, WA, leaving a trail of satisfied customers with newfound clarity of their living spaces. The demand for Flipco's expertise soared, establishing the company as a trusted name in the industry.
In November of the same year, Flipco extended its reach to the sunny landscapes of Gilbert, AZ, testing the waters of a new market for potential seasonal work. The venture was met with enthusiasm and reinforced Flipco's commitment to bringing its exceptional services to new horizons.
However, true to its roots, Flipco returned to the Tri-Cities in March 2024, resuming its window mission back home. As the journey unfolds, Flipco's Arizona adventure stands as a testament to the company's adaptability and ambition.

Goals, Ambitions, and Improvement
Hello everyone, my name is Jack Flippo and I was born and raised in the Tri-Cities! Growing up, we never lived in a house for any more than 3 years, my parents always building or remodeling something and then moving on to the next place. They are great at what they do and this made for some amazing adventures with fresh scenery, so thank you Mom and Dad for the spirit of hard work and resilience you gave me with these experiences. Dedication and hunger for success are the driving forces behind everything I do and especially the success of Flipco Exterior Homes.
My initiation into the world of craftsmanship began with my dad, Duane W. Flippo, who many may know as the owner of Flippo Custom Construction. This is a well-renowned, custom construction company in Tri-Cities, a team in which I'm honored and grateful to have been a part of. My father didn't just tell me, but showed me what hard work was. With his guidance, I learned many skills in construction, but most importantly I gained a deep-rooted appreciation for quality workmanship and attention to detail.
Throughout high school, I was an honors student and worked hard to maintain a good GPA. This led me down the path of the Running Start program through Columbia Basin College, where I acquired an Associates of Science Degree in Biology by the time I finished high school. With my commitment to education, I decided to further my studies at WSU Tri-Cities, pursuing a Bachelor's degree. Ultimately, the goal was to attend dental school and become an orthodontist as soon as I could.
However, the course of my journey took an unexpected turn during the summer following my junior year of college: the summer of 2023. I had started cleaning windows with my brother (Brian Flippo) and cousin (Brant Wilson) earlier in the year, helping the people of Pasco to obtain perfect windows at a fraction of the average prices (lol). We did this on the side, working on Saturdays here and there, after already having worked construction together for 3.5 years. June rolled around and I found a new passion and purpose in turning Flipco into a window cleaning business. Recognizing the potential and demand for exceptional cleaning services, I decided to redirect my focus and devote the majority of my days to building Flipco Exterior Homes.
The realization that applying for dental schools would require a large investment of both time and money played a big part in me reconsidering my plan for the coming years. At the age of 19, I decided to put my dental school ambitions on a hold to fully commit to growing my window cleaning business. Aware of the lower acceptance rates for dental schools among students aged 19-22, my entrepreneurial spirit kicked in, and I chose to explore the path of business ownership and see where it takes me.
This was quite a pivotal decision, but it has proven to be an excellent one every day. Flipco Exterior Homes has grown and earned a reputation for excellence in window and solar panel cleaning, proving to me the power of adaptability, determination, and the pursuit of one's passion. Today, I stand at the helm of my business and hope to leave a mark the communities I serve, but not the windows I clean :)
